Sten Malmquist

Sten Malmquist is a Swedish economist and statistician. He is among others famous for having constructed the Malmquist index.
Professor Sten Malmquist died March 11. th. 2004 at the age of 86. He was born in Lund. He made also an important contribution when finding a closed formula for the barrier probability for the Brownian motion within a finite time interval.
