Stella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 km west of Genoa and about 11 km north of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,066 and an area of 43.3 km².[1]
Stella borders the following municipalities: Albisola Superiore, Celle Ligure, Pontinvrea, Sassello, and Varazze.
