Stell Haggas was a first class cricketer who played 31 times for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1878 to 1882 and reappeared in 3 more games for Lancashire CCC in 1884 and 1885.

A right hand batsman and occasional wicket keeper, he scored 537 runs at 10.95, with a best of 43 against Surrey CCC, and took 10 catches.

Born on April 18, 1856 in Keighley, Yorkshire; he died on March 14, 1926 in Werneth, Oldham, Lancashire.

His son, Walter Haggas, played two games for Lancashire.
