Stefania evansi is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Guyana, possibly Brazil, and possibly Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and rivers.

The females carry the eggs on their back and tadpoles develop fully on their mother's back.
