[edit] Early life and education
Roberts is the son of Andrew Roberts and his wife Sharon. He split his childhood between Theale, England where he was home educated, and Manhattan, where his family has a home in the Upper East Side. He still attends school in Oxford, and splits his time between there and New York City.
[edit] Vice-President & Personal Wealth
At age 13, Roberts was created a Vice-President of Roberts Investments Group[1]. He was also given a 5% share of the company, and is set to inherit the rest of his father's share (bringing it to a total of 58%) upon his father's retirement[2].
This personal interest in the company, alongside a substantial family inheritence trust fund, makes him worth approximately $63 million (£32 million)[3] [4]. He is also set to inherit his father's assetts which include a vast art collection valued in the region of $130 million [5] as well as the remaining $803 million from his father's stake in RIG.
[edit] Environmental Activism
Since becoming Vice-President Roberts has also been active in developing the Roberts Investments Group's environmental policy and practises, and founded the awareness group 'Call for CHANGE' which also has a running petition to stop Climate Change [6]. He reportedly takes public transport to school, rather than being driven, to further support this cause [7]
He recently started writing on popular blogging and news website The Huffington Post - predominantly about environmental and business issues.
