Stefan R. Underhill

Stefan R. Underhill is a Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1956, after earning a B.A. in 1978 from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from Oxford University, he received an J.D. from Yale Law School. He was nominated by U.S. President Bill Clinton to fill a seat on the court vacated by Peter C. Dorsey on January 26, 1999 and was confirmed by the Senate on June 30, 1999. He received his commission on July 7, 1999.
