Stefan Gonet (born 11 November 1981 in Paisley) is a Scottish footballer. He is currently playing for Clydebank F.C. in the Central District League Division 1.
Gonet began his career as a youth goalkeeper with Ross County. From there he had spells with Airdrie and Raith Rovers where he only featured as a substitute trialist against Forfar Athletic.
He signed for Morton in 2005 as backup to first choice to David McGurn. His first team chances were few and far between because of McGurn's performances. He was sent out on loan to junior outfit Clydebank F.C. at the start of 2007 following the arrival of Paul Mathers. This deal then became permanent on January 21.
Stefan is known as a fine shot stopper but suspect at taking cross balls, a weakness that may be caused by his slight physique.
