Steeltown Records

Steeltown Records is a short-lived record label active from 1966 to 1972 formed by Gordon Keith in Gary, Indiana. It's better known as the label that first signed The Jackson 5 a couple of years before Motown signed the young quintet.
The Jackson 5 recordings "Big Boy" and "We Don't Have to Be Over 21 to Fall in Love" were among the songs released during this short tenure. The group's Steeltown recordings later were released in an album titled Pre-History: The Steeltown Recordings (1966-68) on Brunswick Records.
