---- Who Am I?

Background: According to a National Geographic Genomic Mapping Project cheek-swab test, my DNA contains the M170 mutation. This means my ancestors left Africa between 30,000 to 60,000 years ago, stoped over in the Middle East for a while, migrated to southern and central Europe about 20,000 years ago, and arrived in North America in the 19th century.

Current Location: Baltimore/DC area.

Personality: Aquarius in the West and a Ram in the East.

Picture: Christmas 2003, 18th century cabin.

Challenges: Spina Bifida which has become a more limiting factor in recent years.

---- Background

First computer was a Vic-20 in the early 80s and grew up in the 80's with the 8088s and the BBS scene (WWIV and Searchlight). Received a Bachelors in History degree from St.Marys College of Maryland in 1992. Created numerous shareware (TimeCard) and commercial (3D Laser Photocopier) applications in 'C' for DOS. Sold Linux on 50 floppy disks out of my basement in 1993 during the last recession, unwittingly making me the first person to commercially sell Slackware. Helped found the second Internet Service Provider in Maryland and first in Baltimore called ClarkNet (out of a cow barn) in early 1993.
