I was curious if those photo was by you. If this is your photo, could you possibly reupload it without the watermark attached? Watermarks are frowned upon on Wikipedia. Also, the use of the (C) symbol implies that the picture is not licensed in the same way that you uploaded it to Wikipedia under.
If the photo is not yours, then it will have to be removed because you do not have permission to use it here. The359 (talk) 09:18, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Since it is your picture, any chance you'd consider re-uploading it without the watermark? —Mrand Talk • C 18:53, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Not until I understand how all this works. Stardust39 (talk) 18:39, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Image use policy describes Wikipedia's policies regarding images. Specifically, under User-created images, it states that images should not be watermarked or have credits on the photo themselves. Copyright information will be listed on the image description page. However, be aware that licensing a photo to Wikipedia allows it to be used by anyone else, so long as they credit you as the author. The359 (talk) 19:09, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
