[edit] Viper vision again

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. Sandstein 05:06, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

I've received the following e-mail from you:
StapleVision article was deleted entirely.
Viper vision was reinstalled verbatim except deletion of company name. Reasoning in opposition to delete Viper vision was emailed or posted. I'd be pleased to delete words or sentences you feel is "advertising." There was no intent to advertise for commercial, pecuniary profit. The useful information could help 145 million blind people, not to mention the ExtraVision military exploitation of a new portal for computers/communications.
I applaud Wikipedia efforts to filter "junk science." We dare to care and share our pragmatic science of vision. You can reach me at <e-mail deleted>.
Please use Wikipedia talk pages to communicate, where possible. Please make arguments related to the deletion of Viper vision at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Viper vision. It is there that the fate of the article will be decided, not by me. Thank you.
In substance, please note that Wikipedia is not for advertising, which the article bears all hallmarks of (marketing-style writing, contact details etc.). Please note also that your product is not sufficiently notable (i.e., well-known and mentioned by reliable third-party sources) to warrant an article. This has no bearing on the usefulness of your product, the merits of which are not relevant for inclusion. Wikipedia is not for promoting products, no matter how useful.
