[edit] Instructions

  • This bot updates users status based on their last edit. To use, simply add your userpage to Category:Wikipedians who use StatusBot and create User:StatusBot/Status/YOURUSERNAME (your status will be updated here).
    • The bot will report you as online if you have made an edit within the last 15 minutes.
    • If you desire a longer time window, consider using {{Truestatus}}, which works in conjunction with StatusBot
  • You may also add {{User:StatusBot/Template}} or {{Statustop}} to your userpage, which will automatically add the category. Please ensure you have created your status page as instructed above.
  • You can also use {{ustatus}} for user/member lists, which will automatically add a colour-coded (online) or (offline) depending on their status, and if they use StatusBot.
  • If you are already in the category you can also use {{UserStatus}} which will read the statusbot page by default.
