Though rather obvious, the textual briefings and debriefings to episodes follow the same basic design as those in Star Wars.

This is a small bit which has so far (in my, the author's, knowledge) never been addressed in the Stargunner community. During the final scene in which the player is escaping the exploding planet Zile, the planet's surface bears a striking resemblance with what Earth might look like a century or so in the future. If you look closely, you can point out countries such as India and Africa, but the areas of Asia and Europe are horribly disfigured because there is a large amount of water covering their surface. Will this be what Earth looks like when the water level rises? It's a very puzzling phenomenon which I have not sen discussed in any Stargunner or 3D Realms/Apogee forum. --Gold Lead 03:07, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
