[edit] Starfire loves Dick

Pardon me, but you're completely wrong. Starfire was lover for several years to Dick Grayson, as Robin and as Nightwing. They were even engaged to marry, but the ceremony was interrupted by evil Raven. As far as I know, and unless it happened in the new Titans issues I haven't read yet, Starfire has never been lover to Tim Drake, not to mention she's several years older than him. For more information see Titans Tower: Starfire and Titans Tower: Nightwing-- Andromeda 09:52, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, I've checked more into it since then and now realize my mistake, I've retracted my statement. Thanks for the info. –embarrassed Batman Fan.

Umm.. Starfire was married to another man before Dick. One she actually married, so I think it's fair to say that Starfire has been with more than just Dick. She never actually married Dick, thankfully. Their relationship has had many, many, many interuptions. She also had a brief romance with a member of HIVE who was killed before she got with Dick. She's never been with Tim Drake, that's for sure, but she's been with more than just Dick. CureWhite

Her being more with than just Dick was never in question. Just her not being with Tim. Though, I gotta ask, you don't like Gray-Fire? I thought they made a darling couple. I hope they recindle when she gets back. The Anti-Gnome 06:16, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Starfireisms

  • Anyone else think the section of Starfire 'isms' is pretty unencyclopedic? --InShaneee 16:24, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
    • Not really. They're rather a defining characteristic of the character. Haikupoet 02:38, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
      • I know they help establish the 'alien-ness' of the character, but do we really need ALL of 'em? Personally, I think we should just stick in two or three, to get the point across (especially since most of them have no definition, or extremely speculative ones). --InShaneee 03:06, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
        • I visited this page just to get familar with the character and they're very out of place. It doesn't give a better definition of the character (a simple line explaining uses alien phrases would work just as well) and really looks ameteurish when compared to other comic book entries. Ultimately, it just needs to be removed as it's something better suited to a fansite.
          • Alright, I'm gonna try a rewrite as a comprimise, so there's less trivial/unverified info. Let's see what people think of this. --InShaneee 04:41, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Status

Didn't starfire die in infinite crissis number six? I thought she did, why isn't it mentioned on the article? - 68.89.222.215 20:22, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

No. She is MIA at the moment, but no death has been confirmed. Ace Class Shadow 01:09, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Character confusion

I've glanced at this entry several times and though passages that were next to the Koriand'r SHB were about her. Can we please switch the characters, with the more wll-known version on top? --Chris Griswold 02:14, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minor Edit

Original sentence : As with the other characters in Teen Titans, it was decided to render a younger, more child-like version of Starfire for the animated series version.

Kinda minor, but I felt it needed to be done since it was Teen Titans and they weren't children but teenagers. --Takuyar 02:14, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] POV

'Starfire's top and skirt in the animated series seem more appropriate than her comic-book incarnation's risque outfit.' In what way is this NPOV? It sounds very judgmental of her costume and also uses weasel words.Jupiterzguy

I agree, and some of this article reads a lot like crufty fan service. --Basique 18:52, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article structure

OK, I've returned the article to its previous status quo to emphasize Koriand'r's position as the most notable Starfire; given how the Red Star section links almost immediately straight to his own article, and the second Starfire seems to be essentially non-notable, there's no good reason to "restructure" the article to move the information that people would actually be looking for down the page. Anyone have any thoughts? Rdfox 76 02:59, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Another Starfire

There was a villainess, "Starfire" in the Supergirl issues of Adventure Comics (CBDB.com says #404-407). She was being set-up to be Supergirl's archnemesis, when Adventure was cancelled. Should she be included here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.165.188.30 (talk) 18:08, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
