Re this edit: sorry, but published sources trump unpublished insider information of unknown origin. Same applies to edits to George Hayter, which I'll look at later. Gordonofcartoon 18:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Re [1]: the sources do not "suggest" it; they're quite categorical.
  • ODNB - "Among his many artist ancestors was Sir George Hayter, portrait and history painter to Queen Victoria".
  • Times obit - "his great-great-grandfather, John, was the younger brother of Queen Victoria's portrait painter, Sir George Hayter".

When your family scrapbook gets published, fine, we can use it as a source. Until then, just quit trying to impose your personal spin on soruces that are clearly acceptable by WP:V. I'm taking this to WP:COI/N. Gordonofcartoon 12:20, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
