I seriously doubt whether Cavell ought to be considered a deconstructionist. Anyone want to weigh in?

Whatever referred to that seems to have been removed, but no, he shouldn't be considered one. He directs a few criticisms (to my mind, apt ones) specifically at deconstructionism in "Philosophical Passages." Anarchic Fox 09:17, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Correction: the remarks I referred to were part of "In Quest of the Ordinary," specifically the section "Skepticism and a Word concerning Deconstruction". Anarchic Fox 22:47, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
