Talk:Standard user model

This article is regarding a data model, yet seems to be dominated by comparisons to a police state with frequent assertions that such models are used for inherently bad purposes; comparatively, there is very little to discuss the science behind such models, and little explanation of how they are constructed or why. Instead, this seems to be scaremongering; and whilst I sympathise with the political viewpoint, I don't think it has such a place on Wikipedia Mogh 14:57, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
I agree with Mogh's assertions. This topic DOES have many privacy issues like most new technologies, but it also intertwines opinions lambasting user models as bad and doesn't reference any outside sources to this argument.
