Without doubt, Stan is the best live blues guitarist I have heard since Peter Green -- his album recordings do not give 1% of his stage act.

Stan, if you ever read this, please issue a live recording of the kind of stuff I heard you play in Bradford in the late 1980's!!! The live material you have so far put out (that I have bought) is rather poor in comparison. Same with your DVD's!
