[edit] notability
Notability of the subject is currently unclear, since no independent sources are cited in the article. For the criteria for notability of academics, see WP:PROF. For example, the person is notable if
- he is regarded as a significant expert in his or her area by independent sources.
- he is known for originating an important new concept, theory or idea which is the subject of multiple, independent, non-trivial reviews or studies in works meeting our standards for reliable sources.
- he has received a notable award or honor, or has been often nominated for them.
or other criteria given in WP:PROF. In any case, however, this must be backed with citation of sources. Please add such sources to the article.
For the time being, I am replacing the "importance" tag with "notability".
