Talk:Stacy Brice

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello,

As an AssistU Alumni, and an individual who is very plugged into the world of virtual assistance both in Canada and in the United States, I have been exposed not just to the training offered by Stacy Brice’s organization. In researching it (before, during and after my graduation), I have also been exposed to literally scores of articles on Stacy or on AssistU.

Please take time to check all of the links we have provided. There are numerous external, verifiable links, such as one to an LA Times article, another to an MSNBC article, and yet another to BusinessWeek. Stacy has been written up in many other articles, in various media (including the Internet, as cited, and radio talk shows). In addition to what I feel are very strong, very credible external links (all verifiable), I have included a number of industry links. Reading the article, and checking even a couple of those links (such as VACOC’s or the one concerning her winning the InnoVAtive Award for two consecutive years) will show you the importance and relevance of Stacy in this field. I have also provided internal links to AssistU (but these are scarce), and links to various Blogs that Stacy publishes.

I feel strongly that Stacy is recognized as the single primary individual for putting virtual assistance on the map. She is an integral part of this field. AssistU has had over 1,000 people pass through its rigorous VTP (virtual training program).

I invite you to and respectfully request you read the article and check the links before deciding whether you feel it should be deleted. I would add that it’s very unusual to search the Internet or business world for “virtual assistance” without finding AssistU or Stacy Brice’s name at the forefront. She is a unique, and enduring American entrepreneur, and should be recognized for her many contributions to and relevance in this field.

Thank you for reviewing this, and in advance, for any suggestions you might have that will help us improve upon it.

[edit] The "Advert" tag

Hello,

After seeing the Advert tag, we did an extensive re-write of the article on Stacy Brice. We believe we've met Wikipedia's guidelines in making the article more neutral in tone.
