Stawley is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated ten miles west of Taunton in the Taunton Deane district. The parish has a population of 305 and includes the hamlet of Appley.
The village was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086.
The village church register dates from 1528.
The soil consists of clay, with a subsoil of sandstone and limestone. The village has a high density of rare flora and fauna, including 8 species of endangered birds.
