States of Melba is a geek rock band from Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The band was initially formed as a side-project of metalcore band Zao often having their music sold at a side-projects table during Zao shows. They recorded their debut album Malevolent Legumes and went on indefinite hiatus in 2006.
As of 2008, the band has been booked for the Maestro Minds School of Music benefit concert in April. It is unknown whether the band's reunion will be a one-time event or not.
