The State University of Tetovo (Albanian: Universiteti Shtetëror i Tetovës, Macedonian: Државен универзитет во Тетово), located in Tetovo, is one of four Macedonian state universities. The university was established on 17 December 1994, however, it was not officially recognized as a state university by the Macedonian government until January, 2004. Currently, the University is chaired by Sadi Bexheti. Courses and lectures are mostly held in Albanian, but also in Macedonian and English.

The university consists of ten faculties:

Economic Faculty Faculty of Law Aplied Sciences Faculty Faculty of Arts Philosophic Faculty Philological Faculty Medical Sciences Faculty Faculty of Math-Natural Sciences Faculty of Food technology Faculty of Physical education
