State Twenty20 Cricket Tournament is the domestic Twenty20 tournament in New Zealand. The tournament was first held in 2006 and was won by Canterbury defeating Auckland by six wickets.

The competition had two pools. Pool A had Auckland, Northern Districts and Wellington. Pool B had Central Districts, Canterbury and Otago.

The competition was expanded to a six-team round robin in 2007, with a final between the two top teams in the round robin Auckland and Otago. Auckland won by 60 runs on 4 February.[1]
