Start Static is an album from Sugarcult, released on August 21, 2001 by Rumbo Records.

This album was recorded by Tim Pagnotta - vocals/guitar, Marko 72 - guitar, Ben Davis - drums, and Airin Older - vocals / bass guitar.

This was the last album played by Ben Davis before he left the band. It also features Chris Shiflett, then from No Use For A Name, and currently with Foo Fighters playing the guitar solo on "Bouncing Off The Walls."
