The single was released to Canada before "See You Again". It was also released to U.S. Radio Disney. About a month later, it was released to the United States. [edit] Music video

The music video for "Start All Over" made its worldwide premiere on MuchMusic's MuchOnDemand on December 14, 2007. It is Cyrus' first music video, excluding videos based on concert performances as Hannah Montana. The video involves Miley wearing a black leather vest with red skin tight pants and black furry boots with black painted nailpolish. A dream sequence in which Cyrus sings on the song while exploring a neighborhood street that is in the midst of carnival-like festivities, including bmx'ers performing stunts, dancers, and a man walking on stilts, and concluding with Cyrus performing on a stage with a band. The video appears to be filmed as one continuous shot. When she wakes up her photo printer is printing the pictures she took during the dream
