The bridge straddles the Coginchaug River with Starr Mill on the west bank of the river. Beverly Heights road approaches the Bridge from the west as well and on the eastern side of the bridge, Middlefield Street follows the bank of the Coginchaug River.

The Bridge still stands, but is closed to pedestrian and vehicle use.
