Starlight Theatre (Waterford, Michigan)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Starlight Theater is a small black box theater owned by Thomas Logan and located in Summit Place Mall in Waterford, Michigan. The theater was founded in 2002 by Logan and an associate and has been in operation ever since. The theater's stated aim is to hold at least one performance weekly. In the course of a year it is uncommon for more than two weeks to elapse between performances. In addition to plays and musicals, the theater also holds concerts, acting classes, and at one time featured an improv comedy group. The theater received an additional boon in 2007 when noted television writer Mark Rothman began directing his own plays at the theater and has declared his intent to premiere a new show there at some time in the future.
