Staring to the Sun is the band Scarling's fourth single. It was released on June 6, 2006. The single contains "City Noise", which is from their previous album So Long, Scarecrow.
The title track, "Staring to the Sun", sounds like they took the title track of So Long, Scarecrow and added just about more instrumentation. The song is reminiscent of a lot their earlier work, with heavy distortion.
The CD features an additional track, a cover of Pixies' "Wave of Mutilation".
