Starflower

Starflower is the common name for a number of plants. It may refer to:

  • Borage (Borago officinalis) An annual herb from Syria, naturalized in much of Europe, North Africa, and Iran
  • Calytrix, a shrub of the myrtle family, native to Australia
  • Trientalis, shrubs of the primrose family including:
    • Trientalis borealis, the Northern Starflower, native to North America
    • Trientalis europaea, the European Starflower or syn. Trientalis arctica, Arctic Starflower, native to Eurasia
    • Trientalis latifolia, the Pacific Starflower, found in California.
