The Stardance Project is an attempt to be the first real zero gravity dance to film.[1] Currently the filmmakers intend the film to be shot and viewed in the IMAX format.
[edit] History
The project was begun by Jeanne Robinson (co-author of the Stardance novels) and a concept reel of art and video was shown along with a presentation at the Heinlein centennial. The concept reel was also uploaded to Youtube. Following the presentation Jim Sposto signed on as producer and Peter Diamandis offered a free ride to Jeanne and her dancer to get some practical experience and footage abord his zero-g flights out of Las Vegas. The trip is scheduled over the 2007 new year and will be liveblogged.[2]
