Star Warped is a parody themed video game for the PC, which parodies the Star Wars universe. Because it was released two years before The Phantom Menace, the game only references the original trilogy, although in several places they give fake info on the (then) upcoming movies.

Contents

[edit] Premise

The game was "developed" by two die-hard Star Wars fans Brian & Aaron (both about 30 years old & still living with their mother), who compiled all of their Star Wars paraphernalia (all of which are "rejected" marketing items for the movies). The game is mainly minigames, as well as several comedy items such as "scrapped scripts", "gene splicer" & "Tell you, I Will"

[edit] Games

U Don't Know Jedi - A Star Wars trivia game (voiced by Tom Kenny) that asks obscure (but accurate) questions on the Star Wars saga.

Time Machine - Tracks the history of several Star Wars characters. Because this game was released before the second trilogy, continuity issues were non-existent.

Death Star Destructo- A shooter style game that features the player controlling the Death Star, blowing up pointless things, such as shoes and lamps. When Star Warped is installed, it gives a link that takes you right to this game.

Whack The Ewok- In this game you must aim a pole at an Ewok trying to cross a bridge, and watch it swing towards the Ewok.

Gene Splicer- Takes two Star Wars characters, and combines them, giving you a humorous result.

[edit] Extras

The extras are unlocked by two different ways. The ranchcam videos are unlocked at random times during gameplay. The rest are unlocked in the "vault", where you must put in the correct password (052577- the release date of the original Star Wars)

Ranchcam- Security Videos stolen from "Skywalker Ranch", showing employees going about their business.

Flawed Fighters- A fighting game featuring "rejected" Star Wars action figures.

Scrapped Scripts- Original scripts written by famous directors originally set to direct the original trilogy.

Tell You, I Will- Type in a question and Yoda tells you the answer using the force.

[edit] Flawed Fighters Roster

Leia I. Joe- GI Jane themed Leia.

Cool Handless Luke-Episode V Luke, after losing his hand.

Pizza Flipping Greedo- Greedo, as a pizza chef.

More can viewed in the "bedroom", but you can not play as them.

[edit] Scrapped Scripts

These scripts are done in the style of several famous directors.

[edit] Woody Allen scripts

1. Han & Leia - Han and Leia watching the destruction of the second Death Star.

2. Luke & Leia- Luke rescues Leia from the first Death Star.

3. Luke & Han- Luke convinces Han to help him rescue Leia.

4. Han & Vader- Vader freezes Han in carbonite.

[edit] Quentin Tarantino scripts

These scripts humorously use censors to bleep out curse words.

1. Luke & Leia- Luke rescues Leia from the first Death Star.

2. Vader & Leia- Vader interrogates Leia.

3. Luke & Vader- Their duel in Episode V.

4. Luke & Han- Luke convinces Han to help him rescue Leia. One of the ironies of this sketch is it depicts Samuel L. Jackson as portraying Han Solo. Jackson of course went on to actually star in the prequels as Mace Windu.

[edit] Jerry Seinfeld scripts

1. Han & Leia - Han and Leia watching the destruction of the second Death Star.

2. Vader & Leia- Vader interrogates Leia.

3. Luke & Han- Luke convinces Han to help him rescue Leia.

[edit] Spike Lee Scripts

1. Luke & Han- Luke convinces Han to help him rescue Leia.

2. Vader & Leia- Vader interrogates Leia.

3. Luke & Vader- Their duel in Episode V.

[edit] Ranchcam Videos

1. What's A Ranchcam?- The Ranchcam is explained.

2. Beer Buddies- A Skywalker ranch employee is playing with his Darth Vader & Obi-Wan Kenobi action figures and imagines them going out for "hot chicks & cold beer".

3. Captain Kirk Kenobi- Several screenwriters are at a meeting discussing ideas for the Star Wars prequels, when a guy who never saw the movies keeps giving dumb ideas. They suggest that he go watch the movies. The guy objects, saying he doesn't want to become a loser like them. As a trivia note, since the game was released in 1997, they incorrectly pronounce Palpatine as Pal-pa-tine instead of Pal-pa-teen.

4. The Leia Look- An employee checks to make sure no one is around, then puts on a Leia costume, and says "Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope."

5. Oh Bespin Leia- The same employee from 'Beer Buddies' is now playing with three different Leia toys: Episode IV Leia, Episode VI jungle camo Leia & Cloud City Leia. After telling all three how much he loves them, he proposes to "Bespin Leia". (she accepts.)

6. Get Me Spielberg- George Lucas's secretary is talking to Steven Spielberg's secretary on the phone, trying to find a way to get the two directors on the phone; neither of the two want to be on the phone first, and have to wait (even for a split second) for the other. The secretary's decide to count to three, and put them on at the same time.

7. You Must Be Joking- A Skywalker Ranch employee (same one from video number four) is locked in his office for making too many Howard The Duck jokes.

8. Die Kirk!- Action Figure Guy is now having a "spaceship fight" between an X-Wing and the Starship Enterprise.

?. ? - Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker, shows up at the Skywalker Ranch (in reality it was, of course, an actor pretending to be Hamill) and tries to convince Lucas's secretary, who does not recognize him or his name (at one point pronouncing it as "Camel") to let him meet with Lucas.
