[edit] History

It was an ordinary day when Biddu called Nazia & Zoheb and asked that he want to make a movie on the duo’s life. He added, “But I want that both of you act in this movie”. There were lot of offers for film for Nazia Hassan but she always denied so this time also.

"We love to sing in it if our parents allowed us", Nazia said.

This time Biddu was producing a movie and was directed by Vinode Pande. The movie has the cast Kumar Gaurav, Rati Agnihotri, Padmani Kolapori and Saeed Jafferi. Music was composed by Biddu. And Nazia Hassan & Zoheb Hassan was the playback singer.

Dil Bole Boom Boom, Ae dil Mere Chal Re, Ooee Ooee & Star are still hit and was from this movie. These were the first bollywood movie’s song which was played by the National TV at that time. National TV produced new performances with Nazia & Zoheb.

Star the album was released in Pakistan also but with the name of Boom Boom. All the songs were declared super hit and got a strong position in charts. Boom Boom top the charts internationally. It was the first Pakistani Album which has the surround quality and has its Dolby effect.

It was first time in Bollywood that the music was super hit but the film was totally flopped. The reason was weak story and confused plot. But songs proved that Nazia & Zoheb’s success is not the fluke it is the fruit for their hard work. Both of them continued their education and went to senior school.
