The station operates a team of Street Fleeters who look after all aspects of promotional work.

Its main rivals in the region are Severn Sound (102.4FM) and BBC Radio Gloucestershire (104.7FM). Programme Controller is currently Brody Swain and Station Manager is Junie Lewis

Presenters currently working on the station: Brody Swain, Craig Wright, Ben Atkinson and Tim Oakes. Star 107.5 recently played host to top pop group McFly who performed at the 2006 Christmas lights turn-on. However, the event was marred by crushing amongst the extraordinary number of people who turned up to watch the event. In March 2007, Star 107.5 was also the only local radio station present at Liz Hurleys Wedding providing live reports throughout the day.

In the Summer of 2007 Gloucestershire saw the worst flooding in living memory, resulting in 140,000 homes being without water for nearly two weeks. During this period, Star provided Cheltenham and Tewkesbury with continuous water and flood information, winning them many new friends in the area.

Their sister station, Star Stroud, ceased broadcasting in October 2006, after handing their radio licence back to OFCOM, after poor financial results.
