[edit] History
Stanton Lacy can trace its history as far back as the Norman conquest of 1066, and is generally considered to be founded by Roger de Lacy around that time. The parish has had a long and varied history.

Whilst the parish used to be able to boast two schools, four Methodist chapels, shops, pubs and a football team, none of these now remain. The parish now serves as a popular retirement destination. However, a small farming community still remains.
