Stanley E. Borleske was a head football coach at Fresno State, and North Dakota State. From 1919 to 1924, he coached at North Dakota State, where he compiled a 17-14-4 record. He is best remembered there for selecting the mascot "Bison" for the school. From 1929 to 1932, he coached at Fresno State, where he compiled a 16-18-2 record. His 1930 team remains the only team in school history to complete a season undefeated at 8-0. He played college football at Michigan from 1908 to 1910.
