Stanley Beck

Stanley Beck, played by actor Charles Frank, was a character in the short-lived comedy series, Filthy Rich.

Stanley was the youngest of the two sons of Big Guy Beck and his first wife, Mother B. (Nedra Volz). As he was independently wealthy, apart from his family, this made him more level-headed and nicer than his older and snobbier brother, Marshall (Michael Lombard). He was considerate and more apt to be nice where his brother and his wife, equally snotty Carlotta would scorn almost everyone else.

When his father's videotaped will was read, and the stipulation came about that in order for the Beck family to receive Big Guy's money, they had to welcome his illegitimate son, Wild Bill Westchester (Jerry Hardin) and his wife Bootsie (Ann Wedgeworth) into the family, Stanley chose to do so immediately. He and his mother, Mother B. seemed to be the only ones who allowed them into the family, as Marshall and Carlotta schemed to get rid of him, and the rest of the family as well, so that they could be the only ones to get the money. Stanley helped the rest of the family foil their numerous schemes.
