Stanley Bagshaw is the main character in a series of children's cartoon books created by Bob Wilson. The character also appeared in a series of cartoons for Yorkshire Television.

In the series, Stanley is portrayed as a young boy around 10 years of age. He lives in a fictional town called "Huddersgate," which is in fact based on Stoke-upon-Trent. Stanley goes through a series of unlikely adventures in which he is invariably the hero, defeating thieves and preventing tragedies.
The series is entirely written in rhyme.
