Stanage Pole is a famous landmark in South Yorkshire, England. It lies on the western border of Sheffield and can be seen for several miles around. The history of Stanage Pole goes as far back as the Romans. It is situated along an old Roman road, which is now part of a public by-way between Redmires and the A57 at Moscar.
