Stan Pitt

Stanley John Pitt (1925 Sydney - 2002) Sydney, was an Australian cartoonist and commercial artist. He often collaborated with his brother, Reginald Pitt.
Pitt's first professional publication was "Anthony Fury", published by Consolidated Press in 1942. He also did Larry Flynn, Detective, Silver Starr for the same group who published "The Sunday Sun" from 1945-1948, Gully Foyle, Captain Power, Jim Atlas, Dr. Peril of Iggo and Yarmak-Jungle King. Stanley Pitt was also the first Australian comic book artist to work for the big American Comic Companies DC and Gold Key.
