Staley High School, located at 2800 N.E. Shoal Creek Parkway in Kansas City North, Missouri in the far north area of the district, will be the fourth high school added to North Kansas City School District. The new school was decided to be named after the nearby Staley Farms and the road of the same name. The opening will begin the year of 2008-09 classes, with approximately 800 students from Oak Park HS. The school's mascot has been decided as the Staley Falcons, and the school's colors are green, black, and silver. New top-notch facilities for district activities (such as a football & track stadium, baseball and softball fields, and a soccer field) will be opened alongside the school. Staley HS will have a student capacity of 1,500, but with a Phase II expansion in the future, it will increase to 2,000 students. Mr. Clark Mershon will be the school's principal.
