Stageworks Theatre

Stageworks Theatre is an English theatre group, based in the York area, consisting of Jamie McKeller, Beth Stephenson, Nathan Bottomley, Cat Moss and Vicky Hollings. The group was formed in December 2005 from University graduates, and members of the defunct Purple Monkey Theatre Company.

The group's first production was a tour of John Godber's 'Bouncers' & 'Shakers', visiting many venues across Northern England.

The next show in the pipeline is a revised version of Pirate! The Musical which was originally staged by the Purple Monkey Theatre Company. The new production will show in York and the surrounding areas over the following 12 months, before heading up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2008.
