Stafford Leys Community Primary School is a primary school in Leicester Forest East, which accepts pupils from Reception up to Year 5. In the school day there are three main periods - before break-time, after break-time (before lunch-time) and after lunch-time, however Infants are given an additional break after lunch-time. The current headteacher Is Mr. McGovern, who was appointed in 2004 after the former headteacher, Mr. Chris Meadows left. After leaving Stafford Leys most pupils would move up to South Charnwood High School in Markfield.
