Stacey McKenzie (born in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Canadian fashion model, runway coach and most recently a model coach and judge on the Canadian reality television show Canada's Next Top Model.

[edit] Modeling career
McKenzie began her career in modeling while in high school in Toronto, Canada. After being told she was too distinctive for the Canadian market, she moved to New York. She was immediately picked up by Elite Model Management.
Unprepared for the challenges of her modeling career, McKenzie returned to Canada and finished high school. In 1995 with $300, she moved to Paris, France to pursue modeling further. Upon her arrival, McKenzie found an agency and soon restarted her career. During her first season, she modeled for top designers including Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler and Christian Lacroix. She also landed her first campaign with photographer Olivier Tuscani for Benetton
After this, McKenzie was commissioned to work in markets around the globe including Paris, London, Italy, Austria, US and Japan. She worked for Alexander McQueen, Betsey Johnson, Tommy Hilfiger, Todd Oldham, Michiko Koshino and Jean Paul Gaultier. Her magazine covers include Essence, Le Monde and Panache, as well as editorials in Vogue (US, Japan, Korean, British, Spanish), Harper’s Bazaar, Intervies, Flare, Fashion, and Vibe magazines.
She has landed major campaigns including Calvin Klein CK, Jean Paul Gaultier, MAC, Mexx, Reebok, Todd Oldham Jeans, Nordstrom, Barneys, and Banana Republic.
In February 2008, McKenzie modeled at Toronto Fashion Week. McKenzie is signed to Request Model Management in New York City.
[edit] Movie and Television Work
In addition to modeling, McKenzie has also pursued acting. She began taking acting classes in her spare time and was hired for her first role in 1996. She played "homeless boy" in a Parisian movie, Portraits du Chinois. In 1996, she landed her biggest role to date ("quirky stewardess") alongside Bruce Willis in The Fifth Element.
In 1999, McKenzie was offered and accepted the job of hosting Stylissimo on MTV Europe. The show was broadcast in Europe, Africa and Asia. She has also hosted Fashion File and BET Teen Summit.
In 2005, McKenzie became a judge for the first cycle of the reality television show Canada's Next Top Model. She worked alongside host Tricia Helfer, judge Jeanne Beker and judge Paul Venoit. She was seen as a guest model on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 7 in 2006. In 2007, she returned to the second cycle of Canada's Next Top Model as a modeling coach.
In 2008, McKenzie filmed an episode of the MTV reality show Made, in which she coached an aspiring model[1]. The episode aired June 5, 2008.
McKenzie also established a company called Walk This Way. Workshops by the company deal with aspects of the modeling industry and technique with the goal of teaching aspiring models how to break into the industry.

In May 2007, McKenzie was a special speaker for a brunch benefit held by the Canadian Mental Health Association. She discussed the challenges of self-esteem in young adults.[2] She is also involved with an online community dedicating to help women called Thrive![3].
