Moscow State Technological Institute STANKIN or Moscow Machine-Instrument Institute (Russian: Московский Государственный Технологический Университет «Станкин») is one of the leading Russian technical institutes founded in 1930. STANKIN is a abbreviation from Stanko-Instrumentalniy, what means machines and instruments. But now STANKIN trains specialists in much more areas than machinery only.

University was found in 1930 to provide USSR with high class engineers of machinery. Soon STANKIN became the best machinery education centre and university which trains high class engineers in wide range of areas.

Beyond Russian students STANKIN also educate foreigners from India, China, Korea, South America , Europe. Now STANKIN is a acknowledged science school in which students can get technical education in every possible streams.
