[edit] References

Some of them are just the same ones over and over again! For example, Taylor, E. is repeated about ten times! Footnotes. Auroranorth 14:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

In the notes section this is true but each work is only the in references once. This appears to be a common academic format else there is no way to note which part of the text is references to which part of a book. As a small suburb there is not a great deal of published material on St Kilda... leading to only a few works used for the majority of the material. Look at the bottom of Report of 1800 (today's front page FA) for a slightly similar usage - Peripitus (Talk) 06:40, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
