Talk:St John's College, University of Sydney

[edit] Sources
There have been a lot of additions to this article recently but very few are sourced. For example, there is now a long list of alumni, but how do we know that these people were alumni? We need references. In some cases, there could be a reference in an article about the person, but few of the alumni listed have articles. In the case of Tony Abbott, there is a sentence there saying he was at St John's and it has a reference at the end of the sentence. That reference confirms much of the sentence but not the St John's bit. Other sections are also missing sources, so I added a tag for the whole article, not just the alumni stuff. --Bduke 02:13, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Just passing by
I started this article a long time ago after staying in the College for a conference and being surprised that there was no article on it. It has come a long way since then. Congratulations to all concerned. Nevertheless, the point I made above five months ago still stands. This article needs many more references. If you were to put it forward for good article status you would be told that pretty firmly. Apart from the lack of references I think it deserves to be a "good article" or even a featured article. --Bduke 23:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
