St Marys, Dundee

St Mary's is a resendential area of Dundee located in the extreme northwest of the city. Its is north of Ardler and west of Kirkton. It is also bounded on the east by Downfield Golf Club and to the north by Clatto Country Park.
The area suffers from the same social and economic problem that plague most of the outer housing schemes of Dundee however the improved of housing standards and demolition of tower blocks in the Ardler/St Mary's region has improved the area.
[edit] Education
There are two primary schools in St Mary's: MacAlpine Primary School and Brackens Primary School. However plans are afoot to combine the two schools.
