St Kevin’s is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in the Kildare GAA based in Staplestown in North County Kildare, Ireland.

Staplestown Lord Edward Fitzgeralds affiliated in 1888 and were heavily beaten in their first two matches, 6-12 to nil by Rathcoffey and 7-12 to nil by Sallins..
St.Kevin's G.F.C was founded in 1945 and played under the name Staplestown until 1963, when the name was changed to St.Kevin's. Their first success was not achieved until 1972 when they defeated Raheens in the Junior B championship, captained by Nicky Delaney. Their next success came in 1976 when they defeated Leixlip in the Junior A championship. the captain on this occasion was J.J Cahill. After being beaten by one point in the 1978 intermediate final they came back the next year and were victorious over St. Laurence's, with John Sullivan as captain. The most progress achieved in the senior championship was in 1984 when St.Kevin's were beaten by the eventual champions Clane in the semi-final.
The club officially opened it's dressing rooms and field in 1982. A sports hall and bar have since been added. In recent years St.Kevin's reached the final of the intermediate championship in 2006 where they lost to Confey. In 2005 they were beaten by Maynooth. St. Kevins's also reached the final 3 years in a row from 1995 - 1997. They also lost the final again in 1999. Two of the finals in the nineties went to a replay where both were lost by a single point.
All of the players who play hurling play for Coill Dubh as they are in the same parish. Coill Dubh in return provides a lot of players for St. Kevin's

St Kevin’s played senior football after winning the junior championship in 1976, and Intermediate championship in 1979. One of the stars of the 1979 Intermediate championship win, Pat Flynn played for Kildare in the 1980s.
