St. Cuthbert's High School is a boys-only Catholic secondary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It has circa 1,100 students. The school was originally situated on Bath Lane in the centre of the city and moved to its current site in Denton Burn in 1922. The school is built directly over the Roman Vallum.

In 2006 the school opened a new block providing 9 science laboratories, 6 information technology rooms and 4 craft, design & technology rooms.

In recent years, St. Cuthbert's High School gained Science School status and for a long time has been a beacon school in the field of English and Modern Foreign Languages.

In 2006 St Cuthbert's High School celebrated its 125th Anniversary with a special evening hosted by Bishop Kevin Dunn.

The school hit the headlines in March 2008 due to a violent stabbing incident which occurred in an art lesson and saw the school being criticised for the handling of the case. [1]
